Kauai “The Garden Isle”
The tropical paradise of Kauai lies amidst the sparkling blue waters of the Pacific Ocean, about 20 minutes by air from Honolulu. Kauai encompasses roughly 550 miles and is the oldest of the Hawaiian Islands. Kauai's splendor has been the setting for Hollywood productions such as South Pacific, Jurassic Park, and Fantasy Island.

As soon as you arrive, you’ll notice that the island is very much alive. Sprawling before you are jungles to explore, waterfalls to discover, and thrills to experience.  From hiking along the 3000-foot-high sea cliffs of Kalalau Trail to kayaking down the Wailua River to the Coconut Coast, you can satisfy your every whim on Kauai. Even the golf courses here seem more intense, where the unique landscape can make your course hazards even more challenging.
The Napali coastline is truly majestic, with emerald green pinnacles towering around each bend. The magic found here on the colossal cliffs of Napali radiates out to all of Kauai’s shores, where golden beaches meet the azure sea.
The island also offers some less extreme but no less exciting activities, such as tube riding, kayaking, sailing, and more. Whatever you choose to do, adventure awaits on Kauai. You’ll have plenty of time to sleep on the plane ride home.

Poipu Beach, Kauai
Poipu Beach is located on the south shore of Kauai and home to the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa.  Here you will enjoy one of America's best beaches (The "Travel Channel" recently named Poipu America's Best Beach). The picturesque waters of Poipu make it a very popular beach, even with local marine life. Large green sea turtles often swim in these waters, while endangered Hawaiian Monk seals have been known to sunbathe unabashedly on the shore.

Grab a snorkel and mask and explore Poipu's sheltered coves. Snorkel in adjacent Nukumoi Point to see colorful varieties of fish. There's no better way to end your day in Kauai than watching a stunning sunset in Poipu.
